Penultimate day in Greece

Tomorrow, we head to Patras to catch our ferry to Bari, Italy. We have been in Greece for almost 2 weeks, and it is sad to say good bye. We have traversed a large portion of Greece and have learned a vast amount about the history of Greece. As I write this, we are planning our itinerary for Italy. Next stop, Naples!

  1. I'm waiting in anxious anticipation...did you make it to Italy? how long was the boat ride.
    Hope all is well!

  2. Hi David,
Grandpa and I have been following your footsteps across Peolopennese. Way back in 1990 we followed the same route--Corinth, Mycenae, Epidaurus, Nafplion, and Olympia. Wasn't that drive to Olympia spectactular? I'll never forget it. I wish we had seen the "zoo" in the Olympia Museum. The original site of the Olympic games was wonderful. From Patra we crossed at Rion to go to Delphi. Now you are on your way to the incredible charm of Italy. I'm sure you think every day how fortunate you are to have this experience. Good luck. Love, Grandma and Grandpa
