Naples National Archeology Museum

From first glance, Napoli is a very gross city with lots of trash, grim, and smog. But once you walk around and visit a few museums, you begin to see the history and beauty of the city. Be warned, it gets really, really humid and hot here. We made a stop at the National Archeology Museum first before heading to Pompei. By far the most amazing collection was the Farnese Collection that was jaw-dropping and magnificent.

Below is everything from the Farnese Collection
Hercules

Eros with a Dolphin
Apollo

Dionysos with Eros

Statues from their Estates
Philosophers
Just to understand the size of many of these sculptures

Farnese Bull

I only took a fraction of the pieces in the Farense Collection. More pictures will follow from the rest of the museum, but for now, I need to get ready to head to Rome.
