La Specola

La Specola is the oldest science museum in Europe, and it is also one of the most fascinating. I think it is worth a visit while in Florence, but if you are not into science or you get grossed out easily, you might want to pass. La Specola is best know for the anatomical wax models. Made in the 1700s by Gaetano Zumbo, they accurately depict all the major organs and are extremely life like. I didn't take any pictures but I added one that I found online.
