Our hotel was spectacular in Marrakech. It was French run, but it was an old Riad (tradiational house in Morocco) that has been converted into a hotel. The owners and employees of the hotel were great, and they really helped us have a great time. The best thing about our hotel was the location. While still situated in the Medina, it was away from the hussle and bussle of the medina. This allowed us a quit place to escape the shouts, horns, and most importantly, the pundgent odors of rotting meat and exhaust. In Marrakech, it is an assult on all of your senses.
