Just 25-minutes from Mykonos, the island of Delos once was the commerce capital of the Greek Empire as well as the birth place of Apollo and Artemis. The city that developed puts many of the other archeological sites of Greece to sham. However, like many of these ancient sites, they have been pilaged by former power hungry kings and queens along with pirates. If you ever have the opportunity to go to Delos, take the time and marvel in the ruins of the once thriving city.

The Plants of Mykonos
Sunsets
The sunsets on Mykonos have been out of this world. There is a bar that has the perfect view of the sunset, and every night around sunset, the bar is packed with people catching the sun disappear under the horizon. I posted a video already, but I thought some pictures were needed to add to the jaw-dropping beauty of the sunset.
Bad Internet
Mykonos has been fantastic, and tomorrow, we head back to Athens to work our way to Italy. Everything about this island has been amazing from the small little town, the beaches, and the people we have meet. Unfortunately, the internet has been very bad, so I have done a poor job uploading pictures and videos. But, I promise they are coming. For now, we are off to a fresh seafood dinner. So fresh that you pick the fish, squid, octopus, or shrimp you want right from the boat!

Mykonos: Day 1
Disclaimer: For the next few days, we are going to be in Mykonos/Greek Islands. If you feel you may get jealous, I suggest you disregard my blog for the next several days.
After a 5 hour boat ride, we made it to Mykonos, and we are staying at an amazing place just in the town of Mykonos. We didn't have enough time to hit the beach, but we did explore the town and saw the beauty of Greece.
